Alyson Noel's Soul seekers novels are all an easy excellent read! 4 books in the series and the story is fantastic if you love Native American lure, (Shamanism), fantasy, or romance. The characters are all likable and well written out. The lead character is a strong one! Strong yet comes into her own, and the person she falls in loves with is such a quality young man! And her grandmother and friends you fall in love with. Not too fluffy and not to out there for fantasy.
And the soul connections storyline is so well thought out. I couldn't wait for more and will read again one day! I stumbled upon this book in one of our local little free libraries, it was so good I bought all the rest.

This would be a fantastic two or three part movie!!

Wow' is the only word I can think of to describe this book. Alyson Noel has done it yet again!

The second book in the series doesn't fail to impress - it is a stunning story line that can capture anyone's attention. I can't wait for her next book "Mystic"!
Alyson Noel is very fun to read and her new Fated series is nothing like her Evermore. It doesn't copy her previous works. It has a Hispanic and Native American feel to it with spirits and demons. I loved the first book in this series and i am so excited reading Echo you never know what might happen next.
i will admit-i am only about half way through-and I have had this book for awhile...if it is a good read I don't put it down. I feel like this is slow going. (I actually just read another short novel in a day while I am supposed to be reading this...) hoping it picks up some...still going to finish though.
This series has give me the drive to do some soul searching into the mystery that spirit guides have to offer.
Inspired by the book, I know now my life spirit animal is the spider, and my element is the earth.... and so my journey begins to understand more.
I read both books in the Soul Seekers series and I do like Alyson Noel's writing. This series has a distinctive shamanic/southwestern feel, and not just because it's set in a small desert town. I like the characters and am hoping there will be more books in the future. For a book geared towards young adults, it's an excellent read.
In Enchantment, New Mexico, Daire Santos learned from her paternal grandmother Paloma why she is different is due to heredity making her a Soul Seeker who travels between the mundane world of the living and the surreal world of the dead like her late dad and her grandma. As the last of her line, Daire is Fated to save or destroy the world of the living.

With her boyfriend of her dreams Dace at her side, Daire saved her grandma's soul. However, as a lethal second order effect the Richter sorcerers escaped and have caused havoc in the Lowerworld. Dace's sibling Cade leads a horde of ancestors on a destructive path that causes Daire to choose between embracing her Fated prophecy at a cost to her heart and soul or to allow Cade to conquer the world starting with a small town in the Land of Enchantment.

The second sensational Soul Seekers urban fantasy is a fast-paced thriller starring an intrepid heroine who understands what she must do but the price weighs heavily on her emotional well-being as increasingly PTSD symptoms cause her to hesitate. The storyline is thin, but entertaining as fans wonder whether Daire will dare to embrace her fate before it is too late as either way she chooses she knows the cost is beyond what she can mentally afford.
