This plunges them both into a emotional rollercoaster as they both misconstrue practically everything thereafter. Nicely done.

I have to say that I don't consider this book as one of her best. It was a fairly unexciting courtship and tried to push the issues between them. It just seemed anticlimactic . I was waiting for something unexpected and dramatic to happen up until the end of the book but, nothing appeared. What happened to the excitement,the vitality?
I like Debbie Macomber books but I didn't like this one. It was filled with too much conflict and people who just didn't communicate and seemed to become explosively angry with each other. I would have enjoyed it more if the main couple would have been a cohesive unit against everybody else. Instead, there would be a conversation and then they would both become angry and never speak until the end when they suddenly starting talking. It was an interesting concept that I would have enjoyed if it had just gone a different direction between the main couple. It's probably just me; but, I didn't care for it.
I used to enjoy Ms. Macomber's books. However, this book stumps me altogether. The characters are foolish. The plot ludicrous. The premise ridiculous, especially in today's world.
I discovered Debbie Macomber through the Hallmark channel while visiting my mom one summer and have enjoyed her books since then. However, I must say this one isn’t my favorite. It seemed to take forever for the lead characters to admit to their true feelings for each other, with a lot of childish antics along the way. I will read more books y Debbie, though.
Enjoyed the book. Was an unusual decision made by two best friends. Story is told by both points of view. Actually like the guy better then the girl character. She was too wishy washy for me, emotions up and down quite a bit. However, book held my interests enough to finish. Read much better books by Debbie though. She is still one of my favorite authors.
Silly juvenile behavior on the part of both parties. Idiotic misunderstandings and lack of communication made this a tiresome cat and mouse game. Worst of all was the constant foul language! I will never read this author by choice again, if I can help it! Avoid this trashy book like the plague. I'm sorry I read it.
The story was ok but didn't wow. I expected a little more. It's about rich and Jamie who were best friend first. they become disillusion from failed dating. But Jamie wants a baby , without marriage, one thing led to another they both get marry to each other with a lot of stipulations that doesn't work. It was too much like most story written of this type story no wow factor, was a little disappointed, first time i read a story of macomber that I read before from another author similar. But enjoy most of macombe r other books
